The Chaunsa mango is one of the most prized mango varieties in the world. Originating from the fertile plains of Multan and Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan, this mango is known for its rich flavor, fiberless pulp, and strong aroma.

The Chaunsa mango has royal origins. It was named by Emperor Sher Shah Suri, who defeated the Mughal Emperor Humayun in the battle of Chausa. He named the mango after the town, praising it as the finest he had ever tasted.
